Festival of sport begins with questions over human rights in China; meet some young people with a solution

The leaders of some countries are staying away from the opening of the Winter Olympics in Beijing. That's because they are angry with the Chinese government for being unfair to many people in China.

The problem is that China doesn't respect human rights. Most Chinese people have no say in how the country is run. Anyone who criticises the leaders risks going to jail. And people who want to be different, like the Uighur people, can also be treated very badly.
