Lars was still at school when he started building his solution for global warming

It's a time of year when we all like to be able to be snug indoors. But did you know that building our homes and heating them in winter can create a lot of carbon dioxide? And that leads to global warming - which is not the kind of warm we want to be.

Lars Herbillon was still at school when he started thinking about this problem - all the CO2 producing concrete that goes into buildings, and all the gas and oil we still burn to heat houses and flats.

His solution? He built himself a "tiny house". That doesn't just mean a normal house that's very small. It's a special term for a building that's a bit like a big caravan. Lars's "tiny house" is mostly made of wood. He has a kitchen and a bathroom and a bedroom and a living room. Just like a normal house. But it only takes the space of one room, so it's much cheaper to heat.

Let Lars give you the tour at our new WoW! News app !
