When Sarah was 8, she spent months in hospital with cancer. She felt sorry - not for herself but for her sister Fanny. When she was better, Sarah set up her own charity to help other kids who are sick, but also to help their brothers and sisters - because illness isn't much fun for them either.

Two years ago, when she was 13, Sarah Risch created her charity "Tous des héros". It means in French "Every one a hero".

Why the name? Sarah explained to WoW! News: "Me and the other volunteers think that all of us can do something to help, and so everyone can be a hero. Even if you're really young, you can get involved."

And what do they do? Well, Sarah is keen to help children who are ill, like she was when she was little and she had to spend ages in hospital. But Sarah is also very keen to help sick kids' families, too, especially brothers and sisters. She remembers how, when she was ill, she got lots of help and treats. She even got to meet her favourite singer. But she also remembers how her parents were so busy looking after her that they had less time for her sister, Fanny.

So with her charity Sarah tries to help the whole family: "It's important to help them get a break from the illness and give them time to have some fun."

"Tous des héros" helps organise trips to theme parks, for example, for sick kids and their parents and their brothers and their sisters.

And, of course, Sarah's mum and her sister Fanny are part of the charity, too.

Come and meet the whole family and hear from Sarah and Fanny about caring for each other. It's this week in the WoW! News app.
