You can learn lots of useful lessons even when you're not at school. But that can depend on your family and whether they're able to help you do interesting things in the holidays. For kids who don't have much, there's a solution...

WoW! News has been to meet children having fun in the holidays doing all sorts of activities, building robots, playing games and practising foreign languages...

Their families wouldn't normally be able to afford all that during the school break. But with the help of volunteers, these kids are learning to love learning, so that they can stay interested when they get back into the classroom.
